The Ryal, located in the lobby offers an inviting cocktail setting with outdoor seating options. Partnering with local and regional purveyors, Gallery Restaurant’s menus change seasonally. The inventive menus reflect creative flavor profiles that showcase the best of the season. For us the view was the main feature. Even though the food was amazing, I am not sure it would be same experience inside for what you pay.The service was great as well.

The waiter was matching drinks to my dress and it looked gorgeous and made my eyes happy. The carrots were the best (and I can't stand cooked carrots). Gallery features Southern American-style cuisine crafted with fresh local ingredients from Charlotte-area providers.
Enjoy coffee, cocktails, and a curated Whiskey collection. Gallery Restaurant at The Ballantyne™ in Charlotte specializes in a progressively Southern approach to new American cuisine. Excellent service and fantastic food. The amuse bouche was a tuna tartare sesame cone, followed by sweet potato croquette. I had the herb crusted lamb chop, my wife had the lobster. The 64 degree egg in popcorn grits was delicious and inventive.

Booked this restaurant upon learning it was rated one of the best restaurants in the world and we were not disappointed. The filet mignon was cooked to a perfect medium and the macaroni and cheese was to die for. The service was great, the ambiance was nice and the food was good. Probably my favorite was the stuffed French toast and a croissant was so fresh and flakey..
